• Chess - The Next Generation

    3D "Chess
    - The Next Generation"

"Chess - The Next Generation" is the best of all the 3D games. It rely's on all the regular rules for chess. The only new rules, explain how each piece moves and captures from one board level to another board level. The game takes the same amount of time and same number of moves. Watch this 14 move game and see how it's just more exciting with more possibilities.

"Chess - The Future Generation" ©1991 In Parksville, just before moving to Victoria, I quickly came up with how the game would work but I thought that I had resolved the issue to quickly - the game was played out on just on two levels. So in time I developed it further into 4 levels with four players. So the game came to be called: "Chess - The Future Generation".

    Chess - The Future Generation

"Chess - The Future Generation" rely's on all same rules as regular chess and of the game above (Chess - The Next Generation). The only new rules, explain how the Knight moves when it makes it's way to the opposite side.

This game was meant for 2 players to play 2 colors or 4 players to play in teams. When playing in teams: White & Gold vs Black & Silver.

    3D Checkers
    (or "Expanded Checkers")

"Expanded Checkers" is very similar "Chess - The Next Generation" in that it uses only two boards and capturing and moving as seen below:

    3-D Checkers The Next Generation

"3-D Checkers The Next Generation" was the 1st game produced ©1989 (I came up with the idea of 3D Checkers in about 1970 - Here's some more history of the games). From that game, all the other games you see here, spring from this one:

    3-D Checkers The Next Generation

    A Classic Japanese Chess Game.

"Shogi - The Next Generation" is very similar in concept and to the way
"Chess - The Next Generation" is played. It rely's on all the regular rules for Shogi. The only new rules, explain how each piece moves and captures from one board level to another board level. The game takes the same amount of time and same number of moves. The game is just more exciting with more possibilities.
Why - you might say? Well, the reason is because Any Piece can be the first piece to move!

Take a look at the details here. It includes pictures and diagrams and translated into Japanese.

There's a lot more possibilities than just these games.

    But, perhaps you are wondering:..

"How do you go about inventing something?" like these games

Well, here's The Process that leads to an invention.
